2. What this site does and does not do
AICODA is a static, pre-rendered website. It does not use cookies, does not use any web analytics or tracking tools, does not embed third-party advertising, and does not load fonts, scripts or other assets from third-party servers. All fonts and assets are served directly from our own server, so visiting this site does not transmit your data to any third party such as a content delivery network or font provider. No personal data is stored in your browser (no cookies, no local storage).
3. Server log files
When you access this website, your browser automatically transmits certain information to our hosting provider, which is stored in server log files. This may include:
- your IP address (shortened/anonymised where technically possible),
- the date and time of the request,
- the page or file requested,
- the HTTP status code and the amount of data transferred,
- the referring URL,
- your browser type and version and your operating system.
This data cannot be directly attributed to a specific person and is not merged with other data sources. Processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free operation, security and stability of the website. Log data is deleted once it is no longer required for these purposes, at the latest after 14 days.
4. Hosting
This website is hosted by:
netcup GmbHEmmy-Noether-Straße 10

The provider processes the server log data described above on our behalf for the sole purpose of providing and securing this website. We have concluded a data processing agreement (Auftragsverarbeitungsvertrag pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR) with the provider. The legal basis for using the provider is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in a reliable presentation of our website.
5. Contacting us
If you contact us by email, the data you provide (your email address and the content of your message) will be processed by us solely for the purpose of handling your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering enquiries) and, where your request is aimed at concluding or performing a contract, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. We delete this data once it is no longer required, provided there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary.
6. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the "https://" prefix in your browser's address bar and the lock symbol.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR),
- Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR),
- Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- Right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR).
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in section 1.
8. Right to object
Where we process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), you have the right to object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). We will then no longer process the data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
9. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state of your residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement (Art. 77 GDPR). The supervisory authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (LDI NRW).
